This workshop is divided into three sections:
- Understanding stress and fatigue and its impact at work
- How to identify and monitor stressors
- Strategies and life skills to combat stress and fatigue.
Stress and fatigue are often the primary precursors to un-wellness or even illness. Consequently, stress and fatigue can be responsible for a loss in productivity, a decrease in performance quality and an increase in days lost to sickness. Perhaps more importantly, tired and stressed employees can make mistakes sometimes with profound consequences both in terms of financial cost as well as health and safety.
The stress and fatigue workshop has been carefully designed to help you understand the profound effects of stress and fatigue, make sense of the diverse array of symptoms, and to provide skills to help manage both your own stress and the stress in others.
The workshop includes:
- An explanation of the symptoms of stress and fatigue and why they occur
- How stress effects your health, happiness, relationships at home and at work
- Basic natural health principles and the importance of a holistic balance and the mind-body link
- How to recognise stress symptoms in yourself and in others
- Practical methods of monitoring stress and fatigue
- How environment, exercise and nutrition can influence stress and fatigue
- How to apply essential stress reduction skills to improve your life
- The importance of proactive stress care
- Strategies for how to reduce illness and underperformance
And much more...
